Chief Construction Adviser
The Government appointed Paul Morrell OBE its newly created Chief Construction Adviser. His role will include chairing the new Construction Category Board (which will oversee the implementation and development of best value in Government construction procurement), chairing a sustainable construction strategy delivery board and assessing key barriers to growth in the UK’s low carbon construction sector. As well as this emphasis on sustainability, he will work with industry to promote innovation in the industry.
