We work with funders to implement the whole range of funding structures – from a simple property backed term loan through to a complex syndicated lend with a layered priority structure.
We are used to putting together teams of lawyers to implement finance packages at short notice and to carry out the customary due diligence exercises, including commercial legal due diligence reports and certificates of title. We also recognise the importance of being able to bring our commercial experience and outlook to a transaction so as to ensure that a technical issue does not become a deal-breaker.
We’ve had experience of some large firm banking departments where the lawyers are conditioned to pick up on problems and not to offer any solutions – that is NOT our style and is what sets us apart from the execution only service that is provided by many other firms. Our approach is to ensure that we offer up solutions to problems and work out finance structures that allow the transaction to happen whilst providing our clients with the security that they require.
