Professional Background

Beverley was educated at Cardiff University and Cardiff Law School. After training and qualifying with John Collins & Partners in Swansea, she joined M&A as an assistant solicitor in 2002 and became a partner in December 2008.

Area of Practice

Beverley's area of practice is corporate and commercial, focusing on corporate transactions, corporate finance and joint ventures.

Beverley provides legal advice to individuals, private and public companies alike, operating in a wide variety of industries, including the care home sector, transportation, manufacturing and food industries. She also advises providers of finance in connection with their lending and security arrangements.

Recent transactions include:

  • Advising IQE plc in connection with its acquisition of NanoGaN Limited
  • Advising the selling shareholders and management team of travel technology specialist Comtec (Europe) Limited on a secondary buy-out and investment by specialist private equity company RJD Partners and advising Comtec Group on its subsequent acquisition programme
  • Advising Biofusion plc in relation to the disposal of its shareholdings in Cardiff ProTides Limited and Cardiff Biologicals Limited which are developing IP in the sphere of oncology and pharmaceuticals
  • Advising utility network and infrastructure provider Inexus Group on the acquisition of Exoteric Gas Solutions Limited and subsidiaries
  • Advising Golley Slater on a number of business and share acquisitions in the advertising, marketing and PR sectors
  • Advising the management team of project management consultancy firm Schofield Lothian on a management buy-out from Enterprise Group
  • Project managing and advising on a multi-jurisdictional global restructuring transaction for retirement village operators Renaissance LifeCare Limited (based in the UK) and Sanctuary Residences Limited (operating in New Zealand and Australia) and their respective groups
  • Advising the Choice Care Group (which provides residential care for adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities) in relation to its buy and build programme.
