Professional Background
Jeremy was educated at Aberystwyth University. Having worked with international law firm Linklaters in London he returned to Wales and joined Morgan Cole as head of Construction. He later spent two years at leading Finnish law firm, Roschier, specialising in cross border corporate/commercial work, including advising Nokia and UK Plc’s with interests in Finland. He joined M&A as a partner in May 2009.
Area of Practice
Jeremy’s area of practice is construction, energy and projects. Jeremy is recognised as a leading construction lawyer by Chambers and Legal 500.
Jeremy has advised on high profile projects in Wales. These include advising the National Assembly for Wales on the construction of the new “Senedd” Debating Chamber and advising the Defence Aircraft Repair Agency on the development of super hangars at St. Athan, Vale of Glamorgan.
He has also advised on a number of public private partnership/PFI projects in a variety of sectors including advising Gwalia Housing Association on a PFI project relating to the development and maintenance of a £40,000,000 student accommodation facility at Bangor University. He has also given evidence to the Finance Committee at the National Assembly for Wales on the potential use of PPP in Wales.
Jeremy also advises on energy projects including renewable projects, oil, water infrastructure and waste to energy projects. He has also spoken at conferences on the procurement and funding of the Severn Barrage.
