Professional Background

Nicola was educated at Cardiff University and Cardiff Law School. She trained with a London firm and joined M&A as an assistant solicitor in July 2008.

Area of Practice

Nicola's area of practice is property law. Nicola acts for a range of public and private sector clients, with her property expertise extending to work in the energy and education sectors and large scale land projects.

She has worked on many of the property transactions under the ”Reclaim Contract”, a 25 year PFI recycling and waste handling contract, acting for West Sussex County Council, and is assisting on the property aspects of the PFI “Materials Resource Management” Contract for West Sussex County Council. Nicola has also worked on joint ventures relating to the construction of biomass power stations.

Nicola acted for West Sussex County Council on the property elements of two Academy projects under the Partnerships for Schools funding scheme.
