Phillip was educated at Cardiff University where he completed his bachelor of laws degree and master of laws degree. Phillip completed the Legal Practice Course at Cardiff Law School. Phillip trained with M&A and qualified as a solicitor in October 2009.

Phillip's area of practice is corporate and commercial with a focus on corporate advice and transactions. Phillip has assisted on a variety of business and share acquisitions and disposals and has advised on a number of shareholders' arrangements and investments.
