Professional Background
Rachelle was educated at Southampton University and the College of Law in York. She trained at Pitmans in Reading before joining Eversheds in Cardiff as an assistant solicitor in 1996. She joined M&A in 1999 becoming a partner in 2000.
Area of Practice
Rachelle's area of practice is corporate and commercial focusing on transactions, projects and commercial contracts, with specialist intellectual property expertise. She has particular experience of stock exchange work.
Rachelle is one of the lead partners for IQE plc and advises on a wide range of commercial contracts, including intellectual property licences, development agreements and supply contracts. She has advised on a complex set of product development and licensing agreements with Motorola Inc which underpinned a £40 million fund-raising by IQE plc.
Rachelle has advised on a number of high profile commercial joint ventures including acting for Western Log Group on its joint venture with ECo2 Projects to build Wales' first biomass power station. As well as acting for numerous private sector clients, Rachelle is advising Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council on the award of a new long term contract to manage and dispose of its waste.
