Health and Social Care

The health and social housing sectors demands that companies operate in a highly complex environment which is vigorously scrutinised and regulated. At M&A, we fully appreciate these factors and the obstacles faced by our clients.

Our Health and social care team are a specialist core team of lawyers experienced in all aspects of health and social care transactions. Such experience, combined with our comprehensive understanding of this dynamic sector, translates into the provision of business focused, high quality and cost effective advice.

We have acted for various hospital groups and healthcare service providers, including advising on PPP/PFI schemes, and owners and operators of care homes. Our team will dedicate time and effort to understanding each client’s case, and will be committed to finding the most suitable way forward.

Our fee earners have experience of drafting contracts in compliance with the WAG 'Development Quality Requirements' for New Dwellings including requirements to meet 'Lifetime Homes Standards', 'Housing Sight' (published by RNIB), National Assembly for Wales 'Standard Contract' documentation and the 'Good Practice Advice Site Layout Design for New Housing Schemes'.
