Sion Barry talks to one of Wales’ most successful corporate lawyers, Alan Whiteley of M&A.
If you were to compile a list of the best professional advisers on the Welsh corporate scene, the name Alan Whiteley would have to feature prominently.
Since establishing M&A in Cardiff back in 1999, he and his team have helped to shape more than £1bn worth of corporate deals, not just in Wales, but globally.
A first class law graduate from Fitzwilliam College Cambridge, Mr Whiteley became Eversheds’ youngest partner at just 26 back in 1987- heading up its corporate law team in Cardiff.
